Apartment in Zakopane
An apartment in Zakopane where a contemporary base meets references to the local mountain character of the place.
View interiorAPARTMENT
A Kraków apartment rebuilt from a plan of small rooms and corridors into a bright, open space. Its character is shaped by objects and keepsakes brought home from travel.
The most important change was reclaiming space.
Removing some partition walls replaced the earlier layout of small rooms and corridors with one more spacious zone. More light reaches the interior, and individual functions can work side by side.
Designed furnishings sit alongside objects brought from different parts of the world. That private collection gives the organised space its individual character.
